“I typically do my own hair (not well at all, may I add! Haha!), but I found myself off work on a random Wednesday and decided to treat myself to some self-care for a change of pace. Usually I let my hair grow pretty long and then take out my old $20 clipper set from Target and go wild (emphasis on the "wild" part), and end up with a much shorter but very misshapen and not-faded or edged clipper cut. Today I wanted better for myself as I get ready for an upcoming job interview. I easily made a same-day appointment on their web site. I showed up about eight minutes before my appointment time and was greeted promptly. I was taken right back by Xavier, and let me tell you that dude is quite an ARTIST. I'm a perfectionist myself at my own job, so I appreciated that Xavier didn't make me feel rushed at all despite his next appointment showing up when we were only about 80% finished. Xavier used a variety of tools (including the strongest blow-dryer I have ever felt! Haha!), and he was very particular about giving it a 110% effort. I usually don't put much effort into how I look or how I present myself, but I am very grateful Xavier did such a great job because it will boost my confidence now for a long time going forward. Xavier even quickly touched up my bushy eyebrows and my nape/neck line area without having to be asked or prompted. I also had a great time chatting with him and learning he's a brand new daddy (congrats again!) He also gave me a few hiking spot suggestions for if and when I ever take my long-awaited trip to Seattle and the surrounding areas. This salon/barber shop services all age ranges, too. I'm in my late-30's (an "elder Millennial"), and while I was there they had a couple of middle-aged and senior male clients come and go, and Xavier's next appointment after mine was a little boy. Parking is free and very convenient. It is CASH ONLY, but they do have an on-site ATM. I am definitely going to recommend this business and Xavier to friends of mine. It was well worth my long drive up from the North Side. Thanks for the great service today!!“

“Nick, is a true artisan of his trade craft. He dials up the best fades, straight razor shaves and conversions. It has become part of my routine now it's my 2nd cut in the last month. I now drop in for a cut whenever I'm in town from So Cal monthly. This is a must do if your into proper cuts done with pride and authenticity. Be back in a couple weeks.
