The hospital is very clean and the staff is awesome! I had a colonoscopy and ged performed by Doctor Novak who is very thorough and patient and very knowledgeable in his field. He saved my life and I will continue to use him!

Conemaugh Meyersdale Medical Center has top staff at their facility. People may not appreciate what we have in this small town, though, I surely do, today more than ever. On December 9, 2019, my fiancé thought he was having a heart attack. I drove him to the local hospital and the whole staff reacted very quickly, doing their best to help. The radiology technician, Stephanie Smith, saw the problem and things moved even faster. It was an aneurysm that burst an inch from his aortic valve, tearing his vessel/artery to his stomach. MedStar could not fly him due to the fog but he was transported to Johnstown and Dr. Salvas Mavridis operated on Mark. Dr. Mavridis said that my fiancé should not have lived and that this was ultimately a Miracle. Had it not been for the intelligent and quick-acting Meyersdale Hospital staff, this story could have been much different. (I wish I could name each one of them.) I am very grateful to all who work at The Meyersdale Medical Center, as Mark is also. Great Job Meyersdale! And, Thank You All!
