Last Friday I pulled into this establishment to make a u turn because I turned down the wrong road. There was plenty of snow on the ground so I didn’t see there was grass underneath it. I proceeded to try my turn and became stuck on there premises. Realizing my mistake I got out the truck to greet the workers at this establishment. I was greeted with much confusion on why I attempted the turn there. I was very apologetic and offering to pay for any damages I’ve done to there lawn. The first guy I interacted with was pretty pleasant seemed like he wanted to lend a helping hand. He ended up walking off and then a taller gentleman approached me very rudely. And was just being very disrespectful. Yelling that they are not going to help me which was there decision because I was in the wrong. But you would think with them owning a trucking company they would understand mistakes happen. I asked if he could help me out the spot, he yelled he’s not helping only way to get out is with a tow truck. He kept yelling at me to call a tow truck because he’s not helping me at all. He then gave me a tow truck number in which he had already called. I said thank you and he looked at me and walked off very rudely. After that within 5 minutes of all this happening he had already called my job to report my actions. Don’t know his name but he drives a dodge ram 2500 These people had no obligation to help me out, but you’d think they would show a little compassion especially with them owing a trucking company of their own and having drivers that make mistakes. Personally I feel like it was my skin color that made the guy treat me as such but that’s just my thoughts. He didn’t say anything racist to me but his words and actions told me all I needed to know. I pray you guys never make a mistake and need help.
