I actually enjoyed getting my haircut at Ace of Fadez. I even took the liberty of referring a friend to this establishment. Unfortunately, while my friend was at the shop the barber continued to bad mouth me calling my haircut stupid and even complained that my tip was “too little”. I thought the haircut was decent but disappointed I got penalized for supporting a small business.

Ace of Fadez is a great shop. Nick always does a great job, keeps the shop clean and welcoming, and honors appointment times. He makes conversation well, cares about what matters, and listens well too. I have been satisfied with the service each time I have gone to get a cut.

First class haircut for myself and my kid. Nick is a perfectionist - exactly what you want in a barber. I also greatly appreciate his booking system and how he keeps his appointment windows. His shop is also very relaxing, great parking, and easy to get to.

Not worth $50+ after tip. With that being said, Nick pays attention to detail and cuts hair accurate to what is requested.

A good option if you need a cut last minute as you can usually schedule an appointment within a day or two (besides around holidays). Note** Enforced $45 cancellation fee ~ one day or less to appointment time.

The combination of Nick being a one man show, and his effort to give good consistent cuts, often results in him running behind. If you are on a tight schedule this might be an issue for you.

I cannot say enough good things about Ace of Fadez. After struggling for years to find a reliable barber, and going through several horrible experiences that left me disappointed, this place has COMPLETELY restored my faith in barbershops in the Mechanicsburg area
From the moment I walked in, the owner made me feel welcome. He’s not just a great barber, but also a genuinely great guy who clearly cares about his craft and his clients. I showed him a video of the style I wanted, and he absolutely nailed it. He took his time, paid attention to every detail, and made sure everything was perfect. Literally crossing every t and dotting every i.
The result? Hands down one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. The haircut was CLEAN, sharp, and exactly what I envisioned. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and it shows in the quality of the cut.

I've been getting my hair cut by Nick (Dizzy) for a while now, and he always does an awesome job. Very clean shop, super friendly and great attention to detail. Highly recommend if you want a great cut and a good vibe!
