Not sure why but the telephone is not MBO's favorite tool. I've learned to call them or stop by. I'm retired so time isn't as important to me as some. As for the accuracy of my returns, MBO is pretty good. MBO and the IRS are usually within a few dollars of each other. As for timeliness, I drop off my stuff then go in and my returned is filled on line. No fuss, no muss … write a check and walk out with my taxes all done. If the IRS and MBO (my) numbers don't match, then MBO figures it out and I deal with the IRS, e.g., usually write a check for ten dollars or so for underpayment.
