private lot parking dogs allowed open to all bike parking
It’s several natural lance trust sites and this is one of the better ones. I took my dog for a walk a little before noon on a summer day and appreciated the fair amount of tree shade on the walk. There were well built, bridges, and chicken wire added to flat boards to get you over wet areas without slipping. It’s always provides a nice trail map. This area abuts a couple Township areas endlessly integrates with them, so it feels much larger than it actually is. Black trails. There is bathroom access at two of the entrances. I like this place and will return at some point.
A nice preserve to take a short hike on. The four trails together equal 4.5 miles and can be hiked on totally with a bit of planning. Decently marked. Natural trails, so be prepared for muddy conditions. Park 1/4 mile south of the soccer fields on the left. Limited parking, but better than at the soccer field, especially when the gates are closed.
This was my first time coming here. I was with my client on a school trip. We were a little disappointed because there was no maze and the beekeeper was no longer there but the class still enjoyed themselves
