“Working with Pine Ridge Roofing was great from start to finish. I reached out to get an estimate and Jonathan was up on my roof looking around before I knew it! He got me a quote the next day and we were able to move forward. They had an opening earlier than I expected and Mike and his team where out within just a few weeks getting to work. I had some extra issues I wanted resolved during the roof replacement process; I needed our old chimney knocked down below the roofline and covered over, we had some areas that appeared damaged that we wanted extra attention given to, and we were getting bats in the house and wanted any openings they might be crawling through remediated. “Within the past few months or so, I noticed water was pouring down the back wall of my house during heavy rainfall, and didn’t seem to be diverting to the downspout. After being told I may need an entire new roof by another contractor (who claimed the rubber was rotting through from standing water and would need to be pulled out and replaced, at which point they suggested I might as well replace the entire roof), Melvin’s estimator Stephen managed to give me a considerably lower estimate to fix a misaligned/faulty drip edge (which he believed was causing the bulk of the issue). They could have tried to sell me on a new roof / repair, but instead told me they did not feel the integrity of the roof was compromised and didn’t see any reason to believe there was rot. This level of honesty is rare these days!

His team member Nolan got the job done within a couple hours and was extremely nice and professional. He even noted that my downspout wasn’t attached efficiently (I believe it was in place with loose nails), and said he reconnected it with anchor screws to keep it in place. They also recaulked along the back of my deck overhang to prevent any water from leaking through to the deck as it had been.

All this being said, it just rained last night, and I didn’t notice any water running down the back of my house like it was before. In fact, as I stood on my back deck, I could actually hear the rainwater pouring through the downspout!
