“We completed a Kitchen / First Floor remodel in March 2026. I chose to wait a few months before submitting my review, in order to leave sufficient time to evaluate any post-construction issues.
We began our renovation project in the first half of 2025, with a methodical interview process of 6 to 7 local design/build firms. Most of the design/build firms take the same approach with potential customers. What set Mike F and Custom Craft apart was his desire to 'keep the conversation going' after the initial introduction and scope discussion. Mike F did this in a very gentle manner - it was not a 'hard sell'. We always felt like we were in control of the process. This approach allowed us to build a relationship gradually, based on mutual trust.
The design/build approach is certainly an expensive one, but recognizing that up front is important. You do get what you pay for - I mean that in the most positive sense in this case.
Once we selected Custom Craft, the team got to work. It was a true pleasure working with the team from beginning to end. Brittany M, our Designer, led us through the design process, making sure to understand our needs and translating that into a design that was truly unique and that made creative use of our existing spaces. She took the time to walk us through all the material selections. Even when we had a problem with the accent tile supplier, Brittany immediately found a suitable replacement (that we like even better!) that kept us on our original construction timeline.
The Construction team was just as professional, courteous, and highly skilled. Dietrich A (Project Manager) and Shawn G (Construction Lead) were consistently clear and frequent in their daily communications (both in person and in BuilderTrend). They neatly segregated the construction areas from the rest of the house, minimizing the disruption as much as possible. And the quality of the work is some of the best I've ever seen. Shawn G's craftmanship, attention to detail, and customer-focused work ethic are outstanding. Similarly, the various other trades that worked on the project followed Shawn G's lead in making this a truly memorable project that we will enjoy for years to come. You will not be disappointed if you choose Custom Craft for your project. 5 stars!!“

“Let's Face It is wonderful. Ken was very thorough with the initial review of what was possible in my kitchen refacing. I did total refacing of doors and cabinets, new counter tops, and new backsplash. I totally love the under cabinet lighting that Ken suggested. It along with the new cabinets gives my kitchen a totally wonderful ambience. Tyree is the best. He did an excellent job of the construction on site. In addition he listened and made sure my needs were met. The electrician, Dave was also very good. Highly recommend this company for various refacing needs etc. Also, there is a lifetime guarantee!“

“The Sure Fix showroom is close by and had a nice selection of products to choose from. There was no high pressured sales pitch and their prices were reasonable. We converted our wood deck to trex, and added insulation and LVP flooring in our sunroom. The deck team was top notch - skilled and professional. The entire team worked with our timeline, giving our space a much needed refresh in time for a family event. We would use SureFix for future projects.“

Jim presented a proposal and a plan with great advice , helped me choose fixtures, tile and overall design and helped me stay within my budget. The project was on time and with minimal disruption to my home. Communication was excellent …I always knew what was next, what time they were starting each day , when inspections were happening, etc. My house is 100 years old and gutting the bathroom presented some surprises but didn’t phase JRL Design! Jim even saved and rebuilt the original window and door. Also , because they expanded the bathroom and opened the wall to the next room, that whole room was restored beautifully as well. Overall, I had 100% trust in Jim and his team and knew from the beginning that he was invested in making sure I was very happy with the outcome. My master bath is now the nicest room in the house.
