I'm a new resident of Lancaster PA from out of state. This morning my glasses frame broke. I can't see without my glasses. I called visionworks to #1 to see if they could fix my glasses #2 to make an appointment for an eye exam, so I could buy a new pair.
The customer service rep. told me I was in luck! They had a 12:30 opening. I assumed she meant to see an optometrist.
Nope it was to have my glasses repaired. She then told me I could get an exam on 4/22 at their first opening.
She also told me that they could not fix my glasses since I didn't buy them at Total Vision Care.
I'm not surprised they have so many one star reviews. This is not a very professional place. I went to get glasses for my child and when I went to pick them up the staff member was very unfriendly. I am only giving two stars for at least the first time when we went to order the glasses the ladies were more friendly but I still did not get a very professional vibe. The man who was unfriendly when I went to pick them up just really worsened my impression of this place. You see replies from the Visionworks on the reviews here as if they care about the one star reviews but it seems nothing has changed since the one star reviews go back farther in time. Horrible!!! My son had his visit in early May orders trial lenses ( his old lenses werent working well). After 3 weeks with no call or email stopped by and was told they were never ordered- the doc forgot. Ok. Accidents happen. Ordered another set of trials with assurances, by the manager, and an invoice, that we'd receive them in 2 weeks and would get updates, from said manager. After 3 weeks and nothing - stopped by again to find out they weren't ordered again!!! Doctor forgot the code "abb" . Had to reirder but now those lenses are back ordered. My big complaint is that as a customer there s no one to contact. You call customer service, sit on hold... read full review
