Confused....I have been coming here for years. I know one of my dogs was over due for a visit because I got a reminder. Because Of the pandemic I called and made an appointment for September which we just were in. The problem is my other dog is apparently overdue and I never received notification and they all need flea/tick meds. They would only give me meds for two of the dogs since one was overdue. I would think you would want, for the dog best interest, him to receive his meds. He has an appointment to come in and it would be healthier to have it. I've been taking my big dog here for two years and their staff always shows limitless compassion and care. I just got a new puppy and started taking her here as well. They always seem to show genuine care for each and every pet. My large dog recently sprained a muscle in his leg and we took him to the Pet ER since it was on a Sunday. The next day I got a call from Lincoln Highway Vet letting me know they got the report from the ER and they wanted to check to see if he's doing okay. We cannot say enough about Dr. Lewis and his staff! We absolutely LOVE our vet! He goes above and beyond and prices are very fair!After moving the last few years and changing vets quite a few times, we hadn't found one that is as helpful, supportive, informative and listens to our concerns. We have also had some bad experiences at previous vets. They are so caring both by phone, email and in person. Dr. Lewis actually gets down on Cooper's level and interacts with him. He also explains everything to us both scientifically if we ask and in an easy to understand manner. He also followed up via email when I sent a few video concerns.
