The tailor there was very helpful and understanding of my fat arse and gave very good advice to help minimize the tailoring needed. He said don't worry too much about the jacket button just squeeze it on and shake everyone's hands then unbutton, you'll be fine.

“Good evening Family. This is my very first time visiting this dry cleaners. I visited because my dear cousin needs to know my measurements since she is making me some new clothing. Ted was the wonderful young man who assisted me and he told me no charge. I needed waist, inseam, and outseam measurements. Ted graciously obliged. It didn't take long and I was so happy. I did my fitness dance for Ted and he was delighted and said thank you and smiled. Another customer was there and he smiled as well. I enjoy it when folks smile or laugh. Ted wrote down the measurements on a slip or paper so that I would not forget them. I was so happy about that too, I enjoyed my visit here today. Ted and I talked about the Mary Tyler Moore show and The Love Boat, since both shows had someone on there named Ted. Ted Baxter on the Mary Tyler Moore show, played by Ted Knight and Ted Lange who played Isaac on the Love Boat. A wonderful experience I had here. I have sent many articles of clothing to be dry cleaned at Joy's and I've always been happy with their work, from delicate satin Indian outfits to multilayered heavy dresses and outerwear, the clothes always come out better than they arrive. Recently, I just had my wedding. They steamed my poofy ballgown wedding dress with so many layers to prepare for the wedding and it came out looking perfect at the wedding. The day of the wedding, someone spilled espresso martini all over my dress and I had dirt stains all over the bottom. Somehow, they were able to get all the stains out and the dress looks totally new. The customer service is also amazing and they are always so fun to talk to. They walked me out to my car down the block and carried the wedding dress for me because it was so big and heavy. I would definitely come back with any of my clothes and trust them with everything!“

I have never had anything hemmed but seeing as I was a bridesmaid (and I’m short) I needed it hemmed! It was also super thin, thus needed cups lol. The seamstress did a WONDERFUL job. Not only did she have it to me within a week, but it looked flawless. Paid $145 for hemming and cups put in, with a week turnaround time frame. Everyone at the wedding complimented me on it.
