Great place for your monthly haircut and would strongly recommend for all in need of a haircut

I am originally from California and went to the same stylist for years. I moved to state college to go to Penn State and asked my classmates where to get my hair done and they recommend Looks. Well, I can honestly say I will not be going back! I have A LOT of long fine hair. Before going in, my hair was to my ribs and I had a blunt cut. I asked the hair dresser for long layers and to take 3" off. The hair dresser had never cut anyone's hair that had as much as me. Instead of telling me or suggesting a more experienced stylist she gave it her best shot. The final product was pretty bad, the layers were not even or blended. I re-located to State College from NYC area about a year ago. I scoured through a bunch of Yelp reviews and finally settled on Looks Hair Design since the salon looked nice on their website and there were many good reviews online. Flash forward to today - I've been going to Lien since that first visit last October and am glad I made the right choice with Looks! Here are some of the reasons for giving Looks 5-stars: Salon appearance - the salon is always looking very pretty and is kept very clean. They have a nifty hair vacuum that they sweep all the hair on the floor into :) Reception/Appointments - the staff is always friendly and offer me coffee/tea/water upon... read full review
