“These guys are great! We'd been trying to get someone in to fix our leaky shower for over a year, unreturned phone calls and no shows. Called them Monday and was put in their system. I was contacted Tuesday and had Eric here on Wednesday, he assessed the problem AND took a look at another issue we're having w our garage (he took pics for his partner Zak to assess whether they'd be able to help with that, so that's our next project) before heading out. He returned that same afternoon and worked until close to 9-10:00 to get our shower fixed. This was not an easy task as this is an older home but Eric worked through it all. When we're ready we're definitely giving them a call to update our bathroom! Eric is very personable and knowledgeable, he offered us great advice on dealing w the wet wood while keeping it pet friendly. We're three showers in and no more leaks! Quality work and very affordable even without the added bonus of a Military discount. We'll be putting that savings toward the garage.“

To say this place is a huge blessing to my family is an understatement.A few years back one of the parts on our older Amana furnace stopped working, which caused the whole furnace not to kick on and we had no heat in the middle of winter. Had a new baby, and my husband lost his job right then too, due to downsizing. We were desperate. We called around to several local heating businesses and none would help us in a reasonable time, and all wanted an outrageous price to just come look, with no reassurance they'd have the parts to fix it. My husband walked into Shank's Specialty Supply and spoke with the man there. He sold us the part we needed, which was inexpensive, and he told my husband step-by-step how to replace the part ourselves. And so we had heat again. He was so nice back then, and we were just so grateful.Today our furnace went out. My home is 40 degrees. I called around to no less than 20 furnace service businesses in the Indiana area. Every single one of them told me they couldn't see me today (even though its an emergency). Some told me they would get back to me in months. Some told me they weren't taking new customers. So here I am desperate again to get my heat back on, and no one is even willing to come have a look. I called back in to Shank's Specialty Supply hoping they could help. Sure enough, Denny came out to our home and was finished with 90 minutes. He got the furnace back on with little problems, and checked over everything well. I spent hours calling so many others with no help. When Denny told me he could be there in no time, I just cried happy tears. I'm so glad for people who genuinely care!
