I have had an Electrolux vacuum cleaner and rug shampooer for 21 years and they have never been serviced or needed a repair in all that time. I have light cream rugs in my upstairs bedrooms and stairs. They look as good as new and they were installed at the same time that I bought these appliances. Prior to owing an Electrolux, I would buy a new vacuum cleaner every year. I've owned Kemore, Oreck's, And even the Dyson. I am going to tell you that nothing beats an Electrolux vacuum cleaner and rug shampooer, nothing. What I spent on vacuums for the previous 20 years, I could have owned two Electrolux vacuum cleaners. I would highly recommend you purchase an Electrolux....read full review
