It’s nice to have someone that you can trust to work on your pool equipment. I met the owner a few years back for an insurance job, and this year when I started to have trouble with my pool, spa and heater I didn’t hesitate to call him again. They fixed EVERYTHING, and for an amount I was happy to have paid. The store’s chemical pricing is better than I expected, and on the items I checked were actually as good as the internet and better than the other pool stores in the area. And better than the big box stores too. LA Pools will always have my business as long as Larry and his son Ryan are there. They were a delight to work with.
The staff are super helpful they go above and beyond to teach and educate and take their time making sure you get the right part. I have been here a couple times after being bounced around from other pool stores that were not as helpful. Recently we had to replace our pump the service tech(Larry) was super helpful and friendly. They gained a lifetime customer
If you are crazy enough to buy a house with a pool...there is literally nothing better than having an expert pool guy in your corner. Larry is so personable and knowledgeabke and he is your guy. We are incredibly fortunate to have found him. I think running a pool company is no different than being a doctor. Knowing the ins and outs of a pool and the parts and the chemicals and the pipes and how to fix things is complicated and intense. It is similar to needing to know anatomy and medications and surgeries. Dr. Larry has a great bedside manner and makes me feel confident that my pool will be healthy.
