Hartmann's Summer Resort/Deep Valley G.C. is a hidden gem that offers a warm, friendly atmosphere and great value. The course provides a fun, challenging golfing experience, featuring narrow but mountainous fairways lined with giant pine trees. The greens are receptive, and the back nine includes many neat shots. The restaurant is known for its excellent food and beverages that fuel a good round of golf. While the fairways can be spotty, the overall experience is enjoyable. The staff is attentive, and the prices are reasonable, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. Although the restaurant is great, some customers wish it was open on Monday evenings after their golf league.
Haven't eaten at the restaurant but the golf is fun. Opposing fairways on the front, the back 9 is better. Sad to hear this place is closing they had great home made hot pepper relish for the glizzies at the turn.
Love this public course!
I had the western burger which was outstanding. The service at Hartman's Summer Resort is phenomenal.
