We recently moved here and did our research – both asking for recommendations and “Googling” for the best company to replace our entire first floor of our home with new flooring as this was a very expensive project. Jake’s Carpet in Hamlin, PA was our first choice. Doug & Christine were very friendly and even worked with us to delay installation for a few additional weeks due to "other" work being done in our home. They took on this comprehensive project for us, which included removing all the old rugs, padding and other floor surfaces from our entire first floor, leveling the floor in places and replacing all with our choice of vinyl planking – Harbor Plank. In addition, we also ordered, and they installed new carpeting on our stairway. From start to finish, Jake’s Carpet’s installer – Tony – paid exceptional attention to detail. The quality of his work is evident in every corner of our home, literally. Tony and his assistant moved appliances around for installation and then carefully reinstalled them back in place. In addition, they moved furniture in various rooms to allow for installation of flooring which also included the closets. The new vinyl flooring looks fantastic and has completely transformed our home. The stairway carpeting that we chose was of excellent quality and Tony installed it with precision. At the end of day three – our large project was completed, and they left our home in great shape. It’s clear that they take pride in their work and care about their customers’ satisfaction. Their pricing was very reasonable and the quality of both our vinyl flooring and stairway carpeting is definitely quality materials. We highly recommend Jake’s Carpet for any flooring needs. Important to note is that they also do carpeting and blinds! Highly recommend!!!
