Our 2 pups recently spent a week at KHPR while we traveled and I was so happy with the care and attention they received. I received pictures of them and updates which was greatly appreciated. Our dogs are only boarded once or twice a year so it takes them a little time to settle in and the staff paid extra attention to ensure they enjoyed their stay. We live in FL, but travel to be with family very often and I’ve already booked another stay for our pups when we’ll be traveling to a family wedding. I’m so happy to have a “pet resort” where we feel comfortable leaving our babies when in PA.

We can not say enough about how absolutely wonderful EVERYONE at Kind Hearted Pet Resort is! The loving, trustworthy, professional care that they provide is truly a gift! When our fur child, Gunner was diagnosed with diabetes, we did not travel for over a year. Then a friend told us about Kind Hearted Pet Resort and the fact that owner Alycia also works at a veterinary practice (now our vet!). From the very first conversation that I had with Alycia, I knew that we had found people that we could trust. We could not be more grateful for who they are (100% of the staff) and what they do. My 3 pups have never been boarded before, but being new to the area and having a trip planned we had no option but to board them. I was so nervous and worried how the dogs would handle it- I have one reactive dog and 2 doxies who are very shy/ nervous around new people and settings. They are also not the easiest dogs to take care of. However, I think the staff handled them like a champ. Photos were uploaded on the portal every couple days for me to see, which I appreciated. I also got several texts with photos. The amount of communication staff provided during their stay was just the right amount- I did not feel like I had to worry about how they were doing.
