“to preface, i am extremely difficult to please when it comes to my hair. before coming to headhouse, i have never once left a salon fully happy with my cut or color. but for the past two years i’ve been seeing shannon religiously for cut, color, and great lengths extensions and have been absolutely thrilled with my hair every single time. shannon is a perfectionist but somehow manages to make it look easy and knows just what to ask to nail exactly what you want and then make it ten times better.
regarding the salon itself, they cater to you the way you would expect from any high-end salon but without all the pretentiousness and at a price point that is actually reasonable. and while i’ve never seen someone other than shannon for my hair, i’ve convinced three friends to also go to headhouse who have seen other stylists due to scheduling, and have also been happy and have become loyal clients too. everyone there is amazing and makes a really fun experience out of something that i used to dread (special shoutout to alexis at the front desk for all of your hard work, personality and ~immaculate vibes~ in general).

“CURE de Repos is a beautiful boutique spa - Chrissy, Elle and the team were warm and welcoming, I felt like I was in my own private luxury oasis with the infrared spa, cold plunge pool, and the facial was just wonderful, leaving my skin glowing and feeling like glass. The treatments are also quite affordable, and excellent value for money, especially compared to hotel spas in the city. They have locations in Chestnut Hill and Ardmore. Definitely need to make reservations and definitely will come back again!“

“I recently got married in Philadelphia. I found Bella Angel through The Knot when looking for hair and makeup. I live in NJ so their locations in both Cherry Hill and Philadelphia were very convenient. I had a trial about 3 months prior to my wedding with Michele and it went great. The makeup was perfect and I kept it the same for my wedding day. I ended up deciding pretty last minute to change my hair up and showed her a new picture on my actual wedding day and she did amazing. Ten of us got our hair and makeup done - me, my mom and mother-in-law, my 6 bridesmaids, and my sister-in-law. Everyone could not have been happier with their hair and makeup. It stayed perfect throughout the day and night. We worked with Michele, Bobbi, and Tiffany and they were fantastic. Highly recommend!“

“Okay if you are looking for a new hair salon (or even if you’re not) THIS IS THE PLACE. I recommend it to literally all of my friends. The girls here are SO nice and attentive. I came in with a vision that a previous salon told me was impossible and not only did they make it happen, they made it better than I expected. Rachel is so cool and has such a calming vibe like I am such a doormat and get so anxious with haircuts/color because I always worry my asks are too much. Rachel took everything I said to heart and did the dang thing fr. Also, even though I LOVE my hair, if something was off I would’ve 10000% been comfortable to communicate that to her (HUGE for the socially anxious community). Anyways they’re awesome and i’m done rambling LOL.
