Came here not for the tree service but for the Slab Shack. I was looking for a nice piece for a floating desk I'm planning on making and I found the perfect piece! A beautiful slab of black walnut with a natural hole in it (for running wires). The grandson of the owner helped us pick the piece out and cut it, he was very knowledgeable and a nice guy to talk to. The only reasons I had to knock a star off was due to the piece getting damaged and the price being a bit higher than what I thought it might've been.

As an octogenarian unable to climb anymore I secured 2 bids, one from a large company and one from Don Bovaird Tree Service. The larger company had the larger price but the deciding factor was the larger companies insistence on certain preparations to be done by me before they would start the job. Don listen carefully to what I wanted done and gave me a good price and had his crew do the job and they were on time and just like Don extremely courteous to the point of doing a couple of extras without complaint or additional cost.
