As an adult student, Marchwood Music's personalized approach helped me learn to play guitar more quickly than I thought possible. Before finding MWM, I was just wasting time trying to teach myself from books and online videos. Rick has built a community that welcomes students of all skills and ages. I always appreciate the opportunities to jam on the Second Avenue stage. There's no pressure to perform, but it's amazing how much more I learn when playing with other people.
I’ve been taking drum lessons for 1.5 years with John and it has been a wonderful experience to say the least! All of the teachers at Marchwood are professional, passionate and encouraging. With John, he helps me manage my anxiety of being unsure about my abilities. Every time I leave my lesson I feel better and more confident about my playing. As an adult, I didn’t think I’d be able to work full time and pick up an instrument and stick with it- but I’ve found a great fit at Marchwood Music. They really care about their students— I can’t wait for my next lesson!
I feel I can no longer keep this to myself. This is a 5-star hidden gem music school. I am an older guitar student, and taught myself to play guitar on YT, before taking lessons at Marchwood Music little less than a year ago. I experienced accelerated growth through the program by Rick Snow. He truly cares about his students. The program structure and direct feedback helped me tremendously. I can't believe I played my first gig last weekend! The school for all ages and is a fun environment, very conducive for learning any type of music. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
