We found Dr. VanDamia by default. Our previous dentist was having some health issues and had announced he was retiring. When we went in for our initial cleaning and consultation we were greeted with smiling faces from the staff. My teeth were found to be in need of some repairs. I went in today to get a tooth extracted, I told them I was nervous, scared, and ready to cry. From the start Dr. VanDamia put me at ease. He numbed my gum with a topical gel before even sticking me with the needle. He then gave me the “juice” as he called it time to work its magic before he got started. I appreciate Dr. Vandamia’s conservative approach to dental care. I also had a cavity filled today and wanted to cry AFTER because I felt nothing, I was sooo happy! I was not looking forward to getting a tooth filled at all. He is very good!
