I was a walk in with my daughter around 3:30 PM. I asked if they were able to accommodate for a full set for me, and a gel polish for my daughter. There was three people working, three people in the salon. They told me they could accommodate and to have a seat. Yeah, and my daughter waited for over an hour, And at this .3 other people were waiting behind us. Not a big deal I don’t mind waiting. Once we seated, They came over to ask what we wanted. I told them I wanted a more squared top nail and was argued with that something different would be better. I said due to my job, the more square top is easier than they were reluctantly agreeable. The employer put the tips on my fingers and instead of cutting them to length then went and filled all the nails. As they started trying to The filler was already in, The nail started to lift up off of my nail bed. I made a comment that the nails seem to be getting loose and was brushed off. The entire process of getting my nails on was less than 30 minutes, My finger was cut twice with the drill they used to sand off the nails. My daughter’s gel polish was rushed, and the employees barely spoke to us, and we’re just sitting and talking to one another. Another girl that have been waiting as long as us tried to leave, and they started hollering that they would be with her shortly to sit down.
I had been here once before a few years ago and did not have a great experience than either, but a friend recommended them. I will say that, while I was sitting getting my nails brushed through, another client who appeared to be a regular caveman, was immediately sat ahead of the other three people waiting, she may have had an appointment I don’t know, But the staff was a lot more friendly and receptive with her, where I noticed they were extremely dismissive and slightly rude to the other three people and Myself waiting.
I got these nails done on Tuesday, It is now Saturday and I have already had to re-glue three of them back on. They are super thick, sloppy, And do not look like nails that were done four days ago. For the steep price of almost $80 I expected better quality and will not be returning here. The place up at the Millcreek mall is slightly more expensive, but the quality is much better, and I have never felt as if I was inconveniencing the staff by my presence being there.
I’ve been to this salon multiple times and every visit has been wonderful. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and very professional. The salon is clean, well-organized, and has a relaxing atmosphere.
My nails always turn out exactly how I want — neat, stylish, and long-lasting. They really pay attention to detail and take their time to make sure you’re happy with the results.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality service and a great experience!
I generally tip at least 15% for all my services however my tech was so rude and dismissive I only tipped 10%—and seriously contemplated giving that.
As soon as o walked in, I was met with an attitude like she didn’t want to be bothered. As I getting fill in I’m telling her that the buffer machine is too high it’s burning my cuticle to which she insisted it wasn’t (btw I’ve been getting my nails done for 20 years- I know when the buffer tool is being ran too high). So of course I told her again at which point she finally listened and toned it down.
