My appointment was 10:00 but once finding the hospital I got a bit lost. Now not only did 2 kind IT guys see how confused I must have looked , they quickly asked if I required help. Ohh yes I said and those guys had went with me down to the main floor and did the whole hospital walk with me. Helping me the whole way even asked if I needed help with getting registered. Which btw the kind lady at the desks as you walk in had already called saying I was late but got lost . No problem. Then registered me to make sure I’d be ready once I got to the Ct area. Went in to UPMC Hamot Hospital for an MRI 5:30 am on Friday. Staff was friendly and helpful and concerned about my comfort. My MRI with two foot/leg protocols lasted 90 minutes in the large 3 Tesla machine. It was loud but procedure went smoothly. Only issue was a three week scheduling wait time and early hour procedure. Although other Erie facilities had similar scheduling challenges.
