I started with Spark And Vitality a little over a year ago. I have always been not much of what I would call an “active” person but I knew at the age of 49 I had to start making different choices. I have not only gained so much strength all over my body but I have gained better posture, more energy, more endurance and a more visibly toned body. All of these points have supported my making choices that steer towards longevity and a healthy lifestyle.
I started here almost 1 year ago, the day after I retired as I knew I needed to work on my physical fitness. This has been a great fit for me. I am much stronger than I was, my balance has improved and I have enjoyed the classes, the instructors and the other folks attending. The small class size is wonderful as everyone gets immediate focused feedback. I used to swim laps but hadn't been able to for years as I had pain in my arms from a compression in my neck that limited my range of motion. After a few months at S & V doing Pilates and weight training I am able to swim again. I think that these exercises strengthened my back and neck resulting in more stability....read full review
I've been attending personal training and small group classes here since Oct. I just renewed my membership for another six months so that shows how much I'm loving it. I told the team that I'm training for a long hike this summer. They are doing everything possible to help me prepare with lots of balance and core work. The classes are great and everyone gets lots of personal attention. Highly recommend
