I’ve trusted Chris with my taxes for the last two years. Not only is Chris timely and professional but she is also personable. When I was almost certain I would owe, Chris was able to find me a refund! Since I don’t know much about taxes, Chris was able to explain things simply. I plan on bringing my 2020 taxes to her as soon as I get my W2 - you should to! Did I mention Chris’s office chair is a race car seat? Get yourself an accountant with a personality!

I have a local small business and Chris has prepared my returns for several years now. I have always been impressed with her professionalism, her willingness to answer my questions and the timely manner in which she has prepared my returns. She does excellent work and has always put my mind at ease with her knowledge of all things tax related.

Back in August 2020- I have been trying to get ahold of Chris since July 23th because our business grew we have decided to move our business to a larger more knowledgeable accountant that gives financial advise, QuickBooks support, it was nothing personal, in fact we were going to have her still do our personal taxes and real estate property that we were in the process of setting up, we have been asking for our business records since July 25th, she will not return emails, phone calls. I was at the business in person on Wednesday there was a sign stating her hours that she was closed Wednesday’s, I came back today and the sign is ripped off and the door locked. She’s had time to post on Facebook but not call me. **UPDATE, so today I stopped by again and she had all the lights off but happened to have her office door open and I could see her working, so we went to the door and it was locked. She let us in. She said since I decided to go elsewhere she has been deleting all my emails and ignoring my calls. This was the email that I sent her "7/23 “Hi Chris, because of the growth of our business and the PPP loan mess we have switched to a larger company that can provide financial advice. They are asking for “the fixed assets with Book, tax and AMT depreciation” can you get these items to me when you get a chance or tell me where to find them? I appreciate all your help. Thank you, Deb". When we had questions about how to use the PPP loan this past April she was unable to provide answers so therefore we had to consult a larger accountant. She asked if I got the invoice she sent me in the mail on Tuesday for $605.00, she was basically holding information hostage when we have always paid her right away for everything. She did not email me the invoice or reply to any of my emails. She then said she didn't know what information that my accountant needed and she could not check the multiple emails I had sent her because she has been deleting all my emails EVEN though she just made an invoice for $495.00 for supposedly gathering the information and doing "research" for what my accountant needed, so I had to call to find out exactly what they needed, while on the phone for 1 minute getting what they needed she proceeded to print a copy of what was needed, in her copy of our 2018 taxes, I told her I already had the taxes and what they needed wasn't in there. They said accountants don't give a client that information. I have never seen these forms before in my copies but they were in her batch. She told me it was in my 2018 taxes all along she just wanted to collect more money from me since in 2018 she felt she went over and above to help me and since I terminated the relationship. She would drop items off at our shop in Middletown, I asked her over and over again if I should bring items to her that I could, she claimed it was no extra work that she drives right past but now all of the sudden that was special treatment that I now have to pay for. So please beware if you ever try to switch to a different accountant God forbid she will hold resentment and be extremely unprofessional. She is being reported to the Accounting Board. My new business accountant (RKL) are extremely expensive but knowledgeable and they charge for everything but even he said they never charge for what she just did, it takes 1 min to print it, literally so easy to get the information. I can not believe, Jim Welch would be mortified. She is NOT a CPA she is an EA!!
