“Animal Resorts were incredible accommodating and willing to work with our odd requests, despite some of them being out of the norm. They were very kind and transparent, and took their time to discuss safety and precautions with me. I am so appreciative of their efforts and strongly endorse them.”
“I can’t say enough good things about The Muttley Cru. I brought my dog Cosmo to them because she has serious anxiety, especially around people, and I honestly wasn’t sure how much progress was even possible. From the first sessions—both private dog training and group dog training classes—it was clear these trainers truly know what they’re doing.
Michelle and the team, including Madeline, worked closely with me and Cosmo on reactive dog training, dog behavior training, and dog obedience training, and the results were real—not quick fixes, but lasting change. They helped me properly use a prong training collar (safely and responsibly), successfully crate train Cosmo, teach her core commands like sit, stay, and most importantly, showed me how to correctly walk her on leash, read her body language, and handle situations around other people and dogs.
What really stood out was how much education I received as the human. I learned what to do—and what not to do—when dealing with anxiety, reactivity, and overstimulation. They gave me practical tools to calm her down, redirect her focus, and build confidence instead of reinforcing fear. That made all the difference.
If you’re searching for professional dog training near me, dog obedience training, reactive or aggressive dog training, or even in-home dog training, The Muttley Cru is absolutely worth it. They offer effective, structured training that actually works, whether you’re doing one-on-one sessions or group classes.
Their dog training facility is based in Chester County, PA, but I would easily recommend them to anyone looking for dog trainers in Montgomery County, Berks County, Delaware County, or the Lancaster area. This was one of the best investments I’ve made—not just for Cosmo, but for myself as a dog owner. Nothing happens overnight, if you stick with it (it is a grind), your patience will be rewarded.
Highly recommended. Thank You Guys!!!!!!”
“We have loved Karen’s K9s since stating one of our dogs in daycare in 2018. We’ve since moved twice and live too far for daycare but drive an hour each way to board our 2 dogs. Meg, Steve, Eric, and the rest of the staff are amazing and treat our dogs like their own. The flexibility they offer is also unmatched with always accommodating a last minute drop off, adding an extra day, and being on standby when we were awaiting the arrival of our two human babies. Highly recommend trusting them with your pups!”
