“I do not like to leave my dogs…I was very anxious knowing I wouldn’t see them for over a week. I chose GVPH because they offer family boarding, which meant I could board all 3 of my dogs together in one large kennel. That was very important to me, because one of my dogs suffers with extreme anxiety. My dogs were able to play, eat and sleep together. The staff went over and above making sure my anxious baby felt loved and secure. So happy with my decision! We’ll be back!“

“Womanog is amazing. Everyone that works there is so in tune to dog behavior. My dog goes to daycare weekly and has also boarded there. He gets excited as we turn into the driveway there! They are clearly doing a great job with the dogs as their Facebook pictures can attest. The dogs have a great time and they take good care of them. This place is a hidden gem.“

I brought my dog Cosmo to them because she has serious anxiety, especially around people, and I honestly wasn’t sure how much progress was even possible. From the first sessions—both private dog training and group dog training classes—it was clear these trainers truly know what they’re doing.

Michelle and the team, including Madeline, worked closely with me and Cosmo on reactive dog training, dog behavior training, and dog obedience training, and the results were real—not quick fixes, but lasting change. “I truly cannot say enough about Rich and Christina of Misguided Mutts. They care for our pups as if they were their own, and that kind of trust is everything.

One story that really captures who they are: our dog was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease at just 4 years old—something that requires consistent medication and thoughtful care. Rich and Christina didn’t hesitate for a second. They were completely confident and compassionate in managing her needs. Our pup can be anxious and easily stressed, yet every time she comes home from them, she is noticeably calmer.

Then, just one week before a planned trip to Portugal, she ruptured her CCL. Again, no hesitation. They stepped in immediately and took over her care starting post-op day one, supporting her recovery for four full weeks. They went above and beyond—handling medications, rehab, and even taking her to vet appointments.

They’ve become like family to us because of how deeply they care. We’ve since adopted two puppies, and once again… no problem. I even checked in with them beforehand to make sure 2 puppies was an ok idea, and they welcomed them with open arms.

They work with the owners in all aspects of the animals care. I have used the boarding facility's as well I have always been happy with the boarding care as well.“
