I went to the same PCP for most of my life and just a few years ago started going to Davenshire. I was nervous to switch but I would recommend this practice to anyone! I adore Dr. Baylor and Amy. They are honest but compassionate at the same time. I called after hours over the weekend, spoke to Dr. Baylor about my infant son being sick, and to my surprise I received a call Monday morning just to check in him. This practice goes above and beyond.

Dr.Melissa Baylor is wonderful. She is inquisitive and relentless (in the best way possible) in trying to solve your medical issue. She listens, is friendly and has a good “bedside manner”. She conveys information without coming across as judgmental. I know I am fat I don’t want my doctor to body shame me ?. She allows me to be a work in progress and as a result I have lost weight and feel supported.

My husband and I needed to find a pcp when we moved to the area. We found Dr. Baylor and absolutely appreciate her mannerisms and knowledge of more than any pcp we had known back in Wisconsin. Her staff is kind and always willing to assist. Never need to come in when just having a question or want a referral. There portal is checked often as someone responds rather quickly, either by messaging or a phone call. If you're looking for a responsible and knowledgeable doctor, Dr. B is definitely the one. Deana

Their phones always seem to be busy and can never get through. They dont listen to your concerns and only go by the textbook answers. I have a history of low iron and anemia and I wanted a lab done for piece of mind. They refused because “I have new concerns”. I’m not sure how a 15 year history of a reoccurring situation is “new”.

I had a really troubling experience here yesterday. Scheduled my appointment for a wellness check up back in September. Showed up for my appointment, called back to room and nurse starts getting out a gown and lap drape, then sits down and says that they have me scheduled for a pelvic exam. I said no, wellness check up. She makes a note in my chart then proceeds to ask me the standard mental health questions. When she got to the one about my eating habits and I gave my answer she laughed and said "oh you do not," then marked the form differently than my response. She then proceeded to take my blood pressure and my pulse WITHOUT EVER WASHING HER HANDS NOR WEARING GLOVES. She left the room and said that Amy would be in shortly. After I sat there for a complete hour past my appointment time, where no one gave me an update or came in to tell me that they were delayed, I walked out to the front desk. The front desk person proceeded to ignore me until I banged my purse on the counter and said that I would be leaving. She asked if I wanted to reschedule and while she was slowly going through looking for an appointment for me, the nurse calls down the hall that Amy was ready for me if I wanted to stay. I said "nope," and she then mocked me by calling "nope," back the hall. At this point I left since I will not be rescheduling with your completely incompetent and UNPROFESSIONAL office.
