Douglass Cleaners is a skilled and professional, small, local, and family owned business. The ladies, including Sylvia and Helen, are extremely pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. They exercise great patience and do amazing work on alterations and dry cleaning services. For a prom dress, they altered it to perfection, with a fit that was amazing and stunning for prom night. One customer noted that alterations were difficult and tricky, but doable, and the dress was perfectly altered with no further adjustments needed. Another customer had a dress gaping under the arms and across the back, and they did a great job making it fit well. They are timely and do an awesome job in a great time frame. For short notice and same-day service, pants were hemmed for $40 total, which was a great price. They are also very reasonably priced; significant alterations to a prom dress ran around $200 and were wonderful. They are truthful and will let you know if something looks off. They are very good at what they do, and the quality of workmanship, care, precision, and final adjustments are worth it. Highly recommended for any dry cleaning or alteration needs.
Sylvia and her mom are both skilled and professional. The patience they exercised in getting my daughter’s prom dress altered to perfection must be commended. They are great to work with!
I have taken my suits there for cleaning and alterations, as well as my daughter's prom dress. They were timely, professional, and did amazing work. When one of my suits, which had been purchased secondhand, couldn't be altered the way I wanted due to missing fabric at the cuff they called me, gave me options, and did the pants in a way that still looked wonderful.

Such a wonderful experience! Will be taking all of my clothes here to be hemmed. I am very short and the pants I ordered were way too long. I went in and got pants hemmed. Forgot to bring in other shoes to try pants with and delayed service. Called the day of tha I needed the pants and Sylvia hemmed them for me THE SAME DAY for $40 total! Such a great price and for short notice and same day! Truly amazing! Very happy and thankful.
