“What a great experience from start to finish.After 2 years of quotes and being hassled with prices anywhere from 15-35k for a new roof (with wood replaced) we not only got an amazing deal, but the service was top notch.Matt communicated from start to finish and when the delivery truck messed up a very small portion of the grass (it was during rain and snow so it was muddy) they offered to comp us a couple hundred worth of wood. We didn’t even really care about the grass, but the fact they offered to make it right really was kind and professional.Thanks Cooper we love our new red roof! “Umbrella Roofing is the poster business for customer service. Ed provided a thorough and comprehensive review of the issues with our roof including some root causes of the issues. He provided pictures and took the time to give explanations and education of basic roof installation. Although his estimate for the repairs was more than another estimate, the repairs were more comprehensive to resolve the immediate issues and position us to have the roof last. Umbrella Roofing also set us up to have the regular maintenance done to ensure the roof lasts and meets the performance expectations. Our roof was supposed to be a brand new roof so we did not except to have leaks or have a major repair less than 2 years after having the new roof was installed. Umbrella's entire team is great! Jessica in the front office actually answers the phone and returns phone calls. If there are questions she gets answers. The Project Manager Melvin is also great at communicating with customers and making sure the job gets done and done right. The installation team was efficient and did great work. Of course Ed came to ensure everything was completed and completed correctly in the scope of work. He showed pictures of the completed work. The great thing about Umbrella Roofing is they provide a cost estimate that documents all the work they will perform and answer any and all questions. You also get before and after pictures as well as pictures of the work as it was being done. I highly recommend Umbrella Roofing without reservation! Their prices are very reasonable and their customer service is awesome!“

“My need for exploring renovation options started when I became unable to use my bathroom because it was too small to reconfigure for wheelchair access. After receiving many estimates, I chose CGT. Not only did they propose the lowest cost, but the owner was eager to understand my situation and determine exactly what I needed. Together, we decided to use an adjacent room to create a new, much larger bathroom and convert the old bathroom into a “roll-in” closet.As construction progressed, I found that the project manager and workers were always on time, professional, competent, and very approachable. The all-important communication process (within CGT and between CGT and me) was ongoing, productive, and reassuring; we were a “team” and everyone was on the same page. Furthermore, if something wasn’t quite right, it was addressed immediately and conscientiously.Looking back at the whole process, I greatly appreciated the quality workmanship, and that they did the job exactly the way I wanted and needed it to be done. The guys removed the old pink fiberglass stuff along with the wood decking, then returned after some other work to blow in insulation and install new floor decking. Everyone was friendly and easy to deal with.Joe Bockin was the superintendent on the job, and a pleasure to deal with. Great guy. On time. Kind. Wear a mask when around a vulnerable family member? Of course. How about change the batteries in a beeping smoke detector so my senior citizen family member didn't have to get on a ladder to do it? Yup. That's the kind of guy Joe is. Riddick has a good one.Pricing was absolutely fair. Workmanship was top quality. Communication easy and straightforward. The run up to our project lasted several months and Joe was easy to deal with throughout. Emailed back and forth. Texted. Offered his thoughts re: timing and helped us avoid potentially missing insulation during the hottest time of the year. Joe and Riddick worked around my schedule--and another contractor's--and enabled things to work out for all parties.Joe also referred an electrician mid-project for some bathroom vent fan work. His referral--Sprouse Electric--stopped by on a Sunday to have a look, then came out the following day at 630pm to get the job done. All so Riddick could finish as planned the following day. For that timely service, I was braced for a significant cost. But no. Totally reasonable price.I wouldn't hesitate to have Riddick Roofing (and Joe) out for more work in the future. Thanks, guys!“
