Hometown Health Care of NEPA

Disappointing. I thought this practice was going to be different based on a positive vaccination experience but it is not different than your typical medical practice today. I had asked one question about one aspect of our care and was totally ignored. I will not be going back.

Booking an appointment here was very easy. The staff is all very friendly, I’d recommend checking it out if you’re in need of care

I gave it one star because there was no option for a minus star ~!
I have been taking all my foster and adopted teens to this office way back to when Lynn was the DR there.and I loved it when she had that office.
I found a lot of reason to dislike this office with the new staff but stayed because of convenience.. today was the last straw.!!!!!!!!!
I simply needed a form filled out for my daughter for Mary wood college
The front desk was so rude and after a 2 day wait still wouldn't tell me when the medical form would get signed.
Clearly the staff could have easily filled out the form because all the records are there but no one there wanted to do there job !
I will be pulling all 6 of my girls records out of that office and going elsewhere where were treated decently.
I'm unaware if the Dr is aware of the staffs rudeness and incompetence because they did everything they could to prevent me from speaking to her so I'm done !

This place is great, the doctors and nurses are very friendly and helpful. I needed a prescription filled on Christmas Eve, and Dr Allyson went out of her way to make sure I had my medicine!

I wanted to see if I could get an antibiotic without being seen because I don’t have insurance and I explained my family members have strep throat. I obviously would have gone in for an appointment but wanted to see if I can save money. They didn’t want to see me or give me medicine. After waiting all day for a response, I got told my throat severely hurting was “viral upper respiratory symptoms” so I decided to go to urgent care and I indeed do have strep throat. I also went here a few weeks ago for sinus infection that I had for weeks and wasn’t prescribed medication until I waited another 3-4 days of the same symptoms. Can’t trust this office anymore.

Love Allyson Favuzza, she is the BEST, her partner as well I forget her name sometimes, horrible but she is just as AWESOME. They are so kind and helpful. Allyson has been taking care of my children for the past 6 years and I am so grateful for her. To the WHOLE TEAM at HOMETOWN HEALTH you are loved. Thank you.

I’ve never had such a positive experience at any medical facility like I have at Hometown Health. Everyone who works there is exceptional and I’m so glad I listened to the people who referred me after dealing with other doctor’s offices.

Setup appointment for my wife with ALLYSON FAVUZZA through their website. Administrative personnel switched her to the other nurse practitioner.... The nurse practitioner they set her up with wanted to reevaluate all my wife's medications and wouldn't listen to my wife explaining which medicines have worked with her for years. She also wanted to give my wife additional medicines/treatments that my wife didn't ask for. We were looking at this office due to the fact our primary physician relocated, and this office is in close proximity to our home. However, it was a stressful experience for my wife and none of our family will return to this office.

I can honestly say that I have never felt more supported or in control of my health than I do with Dr. F. She is easy to talk to, quick to reply, and she is just an exceptional doctor. The rest of the staff at hometown health is phenomenal as well. Everyone is nice, helpful and knowledgeable.
