Response to your response. 1- no one ever asked me if myself or my business partner wanted to file an extension. 2- I have had an s corp for 14 years. When I moved to this state and registered my business I hired you to fix the mistake my previous accountant had made. You didn’t and you charged me for corporate taxes. I only go a whopping 100 off my next years return. Not to mention Kyle the accountant was more than a little rude. The business leadership is either incompetent or unscrupulous.

Do Not Use This Accountant! The first year I used them I paid them to fix my corporate taxes. They did not do this and they charged me for filing corporate taxes that never got filed. The next year they tried to charge me double again. But, were “nice” enough to give me a discount. Flash forward 2 years and my corporate taxes are still not fixed, they were supposed to file my other business’s corporate taxes and didn’t get to them. I picked them up from Mc Phillips and brought them to another agency. My taxes were filed late and I ended up owning the irs 500 dollars. For late business filing. No one even bothered to apologize. Today I finally paid for this years taxes: 1- their price went up and no one bothered to tell me this before. 2- I owed the IRS money and no one bothered to tell me this before.3- mg old accountant in ny would have asked if I possibly had any other deductions to itemize. They did not. Stay far away from them they are dishonest and there service is terrible!

Terrible! Not only did they not meet the April 15th deadline, but provided payment vouchers with an incorrect mailing address.

Editing to add response after their response: my relatives that I mentioned had their 2023 taxes done there THIS year, nice try!
Had a few good years of tax prep work done here. Then I had a question about the W4 in July which the office refused to help me with. I called the office on 2/6/24 with some questions about filing 2023 taxes (approx cost, insurance docs needed). I waited over 2 weeks with no call back. I called today 2/21/24 and spoke with office manager again (who took my original call). She claimed the left me a voice-mail. I never received a call back or voicemail. She originally told me for state, local & federal taxes the lowest fee was $300. When I stated a relative just had their taxes done there and they paid less than $300 she said they may be locked in to a lower price. I explained that I thought that was weird because that relative was a client at best 1 year longer than me. The office's lack of customer service to a paying client of several years is disappointing. I will take my business elsewhere.

Wanted to try a local place this year so I gave them a shot. This is the lowest return I have ever received in my life. The price to get the taxes done was more than what I got back. I feel sick

McPhillips has been incredibly helpful over the last few years. They've helped me prepare my taxes correctly and charge fairly. They also have given some personal financial advice outside of regular tax season. Highly recommend!
