Plus he turned my various bird baths upside down so as to protect the birds. That was very nice way. Yes I would recommend.“

“Full disclaimer, this was a PECO job (I didn’t pay) but wanted to explain how good of a job this company did.

Another company came out contracted by PECO and essentially wanted to destroy (2) bushes, (1) tree, and an island of planted ivy all to get to this downed tree that was not even on my property but fell onto the power lines.

Luckily, that company did not take the job and instead John Ward showed up. They had a simple solution to getting into my backyard and knocked the project out in about (5) hours. All members on the team were extremely professional and treated my property with care. The weather was absolute crap and somehow they managed to keep it in the same condition although they used a large crane.

Although I did not pay, this company deserves a lot of kudos and recognition for making my life a bit easier as the other company was also going to simply leave the tree in my yard (even though it wasn’t even my tree).

“It was a pleasure working with Anthony and his crew. Even during all the clean up work from a large storm we had they still made time to come get my yard done and taken care of. I will be reaching out to him and his crew again when it come to taking down the other two to three trees. They were quick and courteous and even treated my yard with respect and didnt just leave equipment sitting without it being used. They were great and pricing was also very very good ??. “We had a very overgrown multi-trunk wild cherry that was in a difficult location on our property boundary. Chad (the owner) was extremely accommodating and timely in meeting with me for a quote. He had done work for many of my neighbors and is a local guy. We were able to quickly agree to the price and shook on it. Two days later, I received the written proposal. The quote was dramatically lower than one I received from another well-respected company. Chad suggested the difference might be equipment, as his crew were climbers and they didn't use lifts or cranes. This was something not even mentioned by the other company.

Two weeks later, his crew spent over 6 hours removing the tree, navigating not only our yard and fence, but also our neighbors, where the chipper truck needed to be parked.They even removed a section of our metal fence for access to the tree. Everything was left in perfect shape afterwards and the cleanup was immaculate. Chad was on-site most if not the whole day. HIGHLY recommend!“

I had 3 consults with 3 different popular local tree businesses, and I knew without a doubt I'd be moving forward with Mark. I don't know if it was because I mentioned I was a new home owner/expressed how little I knew about this type of work, but I was quoted more than 10k more for less from the other businesses - it wasn't just the pricing that made us choose Mark for the work but his responsiveness, flexibility and overall knowledge of his craft - he loves his work and the results are flawless. They removed a massive black locust and an even bigger Norway Maple from our yard in 2 days - and the crew had to do this all manually due to the location. The efficiency was impressive and not expected. “Davey Tree is an exceptional organization. Isaiah Bree came and spent a long time fully explaining what my boxwood, laurels and camellia's were suffering from. He scheduled me immediately and followed up. Bree called me the day before to let me know when the spraying would be completed and said to call with any questions and Kristi came to spray. Kristi was terrific and also explained my issues. She was very careful with the hoses around my beds and said to call if any other issues.
All in all I would give Kof P Davey a score of ten stars if I could. Not many companies bother to treat small customers like me with such courtesy.“
