My friends and I had a fantastic time. I hadn't been on a horse in MANY years, so I was bit anxious. The team at the ranch put me on a very gentle girl (Sage) who realized she had a pushover in the saddle and snuck some snacks off various shrubs on the trail ;) The trail area itself was beautiful and since we rode in the morning, it was quite temperate in the national park. The guide was very patient and explained a lot of interesting facts about the horses at the ranch. I can't wait to go back, and hopefully ride Autumn, whom I met back at the staging area when the trail ride was over.
