American Judo & Hapkido Institute Martial Arts Schools

“I highly recommend the John Belushak American Judo-Hapkido Institute. They have different locations, but the Clairton location is a truly special place. From the moment you walk in, it feels like being part of a family. The instructors and students are caring, respectful, and supportive, and there is a real sense of discipline and tradition.

Hapkido is a fascinating martial art that develops coordination, confidence, focus, and self-defense skills. It takes discipline, but the environment here makes the learning process enjoyable and encouraging. The dojang is clean, well-organized, and run with professionalism.

In my opinion, this is one of the best martial arts schools around. I would recommend it to people of all ages who are interested in martial arts, self-defense, fitness, or personal growth.

They also offer an introductory membership, so you can get started without having to commit right away. You can try it, experience the training, and then decide whether it is right for you.

Excellent school, excellent people, and a great place to train. Highly recommended.“

“I've been practicing here for nearly two years. The environment and community are top notch. The coaches, Kate and Gina are champions and care about each student, working hard to ensure all of the needs are met. Master Bao is an amazing Tai chi instructor and very personable. Would recommend to anyone who was interested in either tai chi or a martial arts form. Jai Yo!“

“Master Nigro is an excellent instructor with a 40year history in martial arts. He emphasizes discipline, etiquette, and respect in his teachings. My oldest son started at 5 years old. Fast forward 15 years later and you will still find him there taking class along with his brother and I. The best decision we ever made as a family. Great for your body, mind, and spirit!“

Full Circle Karate Martial Arts Schools

“Fabulous place to train! My family has been taking lessons for over a year at Full Circle Karate. I recommend instruction to everyone! Knowledgeable and helpful instructors. Great place for children or adults. My children are thriving and have so much motivation and enthusiasm for this program. Real situation awareness and preparedness, ie. dealing with a bully, or what to do if someone tries to kidnap them. Regular supervised sparring. Fabulous morals instilled in my children at every practice. It's so, so much more than fight club. Could not be happier that we found this studio.“

“My son absolutely loves the Ninjability class! He had attended a different karate school before starting with Dynamic. The class sizes were way to big. We love the smaller class size ( grouped by age). Definitely great for focus and learning.“
