Walter and Jackson’s prices were really good, actually the lowest of all the estimates I got for a deck project. The materials were top notch, delivery was flawless. They went above and beyond. My customer service representative helped me immensely. Steve Nast helped me order what I needed and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed or ignored. I’m 72 years old and this DIY project was a lot for me since I’m not a carpenter. I highly recommend Walter and Jackson Inc. All the employees were friendly, helpful, and courteous. As first time home builders in our 20s the process was a bit intimidating. But, Howard has been beyond WONDERFUL!!!! He was able to steer us in the right direction when we had questions. His response time is second to none and is very respectful of budget. W&J is a very professional and well run business. Already looking forward to building our next spec home with Howard!!!

A wonderful old school company, with people who genuinely care about listening to your needs for contracting and supplies. They are well-connected within the Lancaster business community, and Amish carpentry community, and they work with some amazing people. Our Amish contractor is who led us to them, and we are so grateful to have gotten to know Dave Walter, as well as to have worked with his architect, Paul, and Paul's assistant Alison. Alison went over a zillion drafts with me to make our plans absolutely custom and perfect.
