The "Straight Up Fitness' class I just completed was awesome! The smaller class size, for men or women with (or a family history of) Osteopenia or Osteoporosis, helped the students interact with each other in a safe and comfortable environment. The instructor, Kris, has many years of education and experience. She provided training on better food choices, specific exercises to improve and strengthen our bones as well as guide us to a healthier and happier future with research and further learning opportunities. Thanks to my PA, Lydia, at Graham Medical Clinic for suggesting this class!

After recently learning that I tested low on a bone density test/dexa scan I was eager to learn more about osteopenia and possible options to maintain &/or improve my bone density. I enrolled in the Straight Up Fitness course facilitated by Kris Zwemer MSPT. The class provided me with the information I was seeking along with practical life style changes I can incorporate in my day to day activities. The course exceeded my expectations.

The course Kris taught called Straight Up Fitness was for six weeks. It included a course manual, nutrition information, and exercise demonstrations with sharing of her knowledge of muscles and tissues and how the body works. We received information about osteoporosis to help us make an informed decision. I recommend it to anyone diagnosed with osteoporosis. It was full of information. Thank you Kris.
