I’ve had three troubling incidents with my dog at this facility, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn other pet owners who love their dogs as much as I do. First, my dog sustained a significant cut on her toe. The staff offered no explanation, and I initially thought it might have been from rough play on the turf. Second, my dog was bitten on the top of her head, leaving a clear tooth-sized puncture wound. The staff explained that “two dogs teamed up against her,” but to my knowledge, no action was taken to address the aggressive dogs involved. Most recently, on Thursday, I picked up my dog and noticed a fresh, sizable wound on her back as I was about to leave. The blood was still wet, indicating it had just happened. The two staff members on duty were unaware of the injury and said she hadn’t been outside in a while, suggesting it occurred in her cage. I tried contacting the owner, Tina, who was on vacation. She was initially unresponsive and, when I reached her, seemed dismissive, stating she’d need to check with her staff. Later that evening, her daughter called to say they reviewed the cameras but, like in the previous incidents, found no explanation for what happened. These repeated incidents—three times with no clear answers—have left me deeply concerned about the safety and oversight at this facility. Since the most recent injury, my dog has been visibly traumatized, refusing to play, retreating to her cage at home, and crying when we try to put on her harness. This is a heartbreaking change for a dog who was once so lively. If you cherish your pet, I strongly urge you to reconsider bringing them here. The lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism is alarming, and I can’t help but feel that something is seriously wrong.

I loved Guten Morgan and fully trusted them multiple times to care for my dog like I would while I was away, until my pup's most recent stay when he became sick and no one informed me of any issues. I picked him up and within 15 minutes I could tell he was wheezing and had a HORRIBLE dry cough. The next day the vet confirmed he had kennel cough, and based on the sound of his lungs and cough, they confirmed it should have been noticeable to anyone caring for him. I'm not sure if all vaccination records are ACTUALLY checked when owners send them to the kennel management, but this is the absolute only place my dog comes in contact with other dogs. I tried to contact Teena to inform her what had happened and never got a real response from her. I know she was out of town at the time, but to never reach out again to make sure he recovered does not make any sense to me as the owner. I loved Guten Morgan Kennels but we will not be going back as I have to protect my dog's health and safety and I no longer feel comfortable with the lack of communication I received.
