We recently rescued the sweetest shepherd mix who gets pretty nervous about having his nails cut and a little reactive around other dogs in new environments. We had our first nail appointment at Compassionate; it is quiet and open and Jamie and the team were so kind and patient in letting him feel things out and making him comfortable. They got his nails done quickly, he did great, and he enjoyed all the praise. The relief and confidence moving forward is well worth the price and the drive from Carlisle. We have definitely found our groomer.
Michelle is truly wonderful! She is always welcoming, kind, and friendly. We have been taking our girls to her for quite some time and have been so pleased with their puppy cuts each visit. Very thankful to have found her. Simply the best!!
Compassionate is really the right word to describe this place! Our dog is a formerly abused rescue that gets very nervous in grooming situations. They are SO patient with him and know how to reassure him and keep him calm. Emma is especially wonderful with him. After coming here, we’ll never take him anywhere else for grooming! I also love the environment with the cats hanging out all the time. It shows that they are true animal lovers here.
