Not the place for fine, curly hair or short cuts. I went to 2 different stylists 3 times each. I left distraught by the cut each time and annoyed at being blamed for their lack of skill in cutting and styling my hair. Why not just admit I’m not the target clientele and save us all the wasted energy?
They also contradict themselves quite often and subscribe to some of the debunked curly hair myths. I wouldn’t care at all except they would lecture me each time about what I should be doing, even if I was doing what they told me to do last time. I would have to brace myself for the punishment before every appointment. Such a weird culture for a salon.

I had my first curly cut here over the weekend. I have done curly girl method on/off over my life but have never really had a routine or committed to anything fully. I have been doing it for about the last year and am truly converted after my cut/style with Tori this past weekend. First of all how bouncy she got my wavy hair (that I thought had no volume) was amazing. She also answered all of my questions about products/techniques that will help me have a better routine at home and get more consistent results. I wish I had the before/after pictures because i was shocked! Thank you so much Tori, you are the best!!!!

I had my first appointment at Curl Hair and Wellness, and it was an incredible experience! The welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home, and my stylist, Tori Stanton, was absolutely amazing. She took the time to teach me the proper techniques for caring for my curly hair and thoroughly reviewed the products I was using, pointing out unwanted ingredients. Tori suggested new products that would work better for my hair and even demonstrated how to style it, making sure I felt confident in the process. I left feeling educated, empowered, and excited about my curls. I’m so grateful for her expertise, and I can’t wait to return!

Tori is easily the best hair stylist I have ever been to. I have never liked a haircut I got in my whole life until this past week. She was extremely thorough and listened to my concerns. This place was well worth the price and 2hr drive there. I won’t ever go anywhere else again!

Doreen is amazing when it comes to color. I’ve had two different color corrections done by her (she wasn’t the cause of the mess-up) and each time she has taken extreme care to preserve the quality of my hair. She listens to what you want and never misses.

I cannot be more happy with my curly cut from Tori. I had a social event following my cut, and I've never had so many compliments on my hair! Tori is a a true master. It's a very welcoming atmosphere and they are extremely knowledgeable about all my curly hair questions. While a bit expensive, the joy of having a cut that looks amazing and lasts is absolutely worth the splurge a few times a year.

I scheduled a How To with Tori and learned so much!! She was very thorough while she explained and showed me exactly what I need to do to embrace my curls! I’m excited to go back, it’s nice to find a place that works with your hair, not against it.

For the longest time I avoided my curls and straightened my hair every day. Then my former stylist said I should embrace my curls so I found CHW through a moms group on Facebook. I booked with Tori online.
I had no idea what to expect but here's what you get: 1st appointment was almost 5 hours long (my hair is chin length). I had it cut, colored, and styled. Tori never left my side. She examined each curls prior to cutting. Color was meticulously done. And she even did my shampooing. I'm used to an assistant, but no, she did it all.
I .was thoroughly impressed with how well she took care of me and showed me how to take care of my hair and style it.
I now love my curls. It has been several weeks since my appointment and I still get compliments each week on my curls.
Tori will be my forever stylist.
Keep in mind, services are pricey, but after how great I feel and how good my hair looks, it does not matter.

This was my first appointment here and I am so glad I found them. Tori was my stylist. She was great-listened to me, gave me great hair care steps, and did an amazing job overall. This was honestly the first time I left after a curly dry cut loving my hair and feeling beautiful!

My stylist was super nice and answered all my questions. Salon was clean a d neat and modern. I got the curly girl how to with diffuse and I just wish I got more information about what kinds of products to use, how to style my hair, how to maintain it, etc. Got some good general advice though
