“I spoke to Jen, at Ken Adams Mechanical, Inc., at 9:38 am on Monday, August 25, 2025, regarding three outlets in my sunroom in New Oxford, PA that weren’t working. I explained that none of the fuses in the two electrical panels in the house had tripped and that I had checked all eight of the GFI outlets inside of the house and in the garage, as well as one GFI outlet outside of the house, and none of them had popped.

I asked her what their hourly rate was, and she told me that it was $140 per hour. She said that she could have Caleb stop by on Wednesday morning, August 27th, between 8:00-8:30 am if that was agreeable. I agreed. Before hanging up she said that she would need a credit card number, but that the card would not be charged at that time and that I would have the option of using that card or paying by check once the invoice arrived

At approximately 8:30 am on Wednesday, August 27th, Caleb arrived as scheduled, accompanied by his assistant, Ed. They spent the next 90 minutes checking the fuse panels, the outlets, and the GFI’s in the house.

They then began to check outside of the house and located a GFI outlet that, I’m embarrassed to say, I had overlooked. They saw that it had, in fact, popped. Once they reset it, power was restored to my sunroom.

Caleb was very knowledgeable and I found both he and his assistant, Ed, to be personable and very professional.

With the exception of an administrative issue with the invoice which, when brought to his attention was immediately corrected by the owner, Ken Adams, I had no problem with this company and would highly recommend them for residential electrical repairs.“

“Scott and his crew put in an HVAC in my house 5 years ago and it's been issue free after the recent heatwave my compressor went out and I contacted Scott about the issue he responded to me at 9:00 p.m. at night and told me he would try to get somebody there first thing in the morning to look at the issue. True to his word they were out at my house at 6:30 in the morning and looked over the unit and discover that the compressor was not functioning properly. They promptly ordered a new compressor and a day later contacted me and asked if they could come out and install the new one and I said certainly. They fixed the problem and my unit is operating perfectly now I could not ask for better customer service especially after the time frame of 5 years after the unit was originally installed they back up their warranty gave me quick customer service and satisfaction and I am happy that I went with them years ago to install my unit I was charged nothing since the unit was under warranty,thank you Scott and your crew for professionalism and standing behind your product!!
