I have been a patient at Lehigh Valley Dermatology located at 940 N New Street, Bethlehem Pa 180182, for over 7 years .I have a chronic precancerous condition and go for check ups and treatments when required every 6 months. In July of 2022 I was contacted by the office support staff to advise that they were not in the network for my insurance-Aetna. I contacted Aetna and was assured they were in fact on the network. I called back and spoke to the office manager who said it was an error and yes , they do take my insurance. Extremely disappointed! I was told prior to my visit that they accepted my insurance! Right after my appointment, I was told they didn't! WHY WOULD I HAVE MADE AN APPOINTMENT IF THEY DID NOT TAKE MY INSURANCE?!? I have asked them to split the difference...which they are NOT willing to do. The women I've dealt with have been rude and sarcastic. They are not willing to work with me at ALL. Very disappointed with their office. They knew they didn't accept my insurance , but saw me anyway!
