Very disappointed with this dog training class. The trainer made me feel uncomfortable in how both my dog and I were treated in the first 2 classes since the trainer seemed personally acquainted with the only other participant then the next 2 classes were cancelled due to weather. The environment felt awkward and unwelcoming. Overall, not a positive or supportive experience. Would not recommend.

Xcel was recommended to me for agility classes and I cannot say enough good things about it! Machell is such a great trainer and my dog has gotten so good at agility thanks to her. Classes are small, everyone is friendly, and it’s a welcoming environment. Whether you are looking to compete or just want a fun activity to do with your dog, I highly recommend Xcel!

We have been taking agility lessons at Xcel for about 6 months now and we love it! Machell has an excellent knowledge of different dog personalities, behavior, and training styles and methods to get you where you want to go with your pup! The courses build as you continue to grow and advance and I have never felt like we were being thrown in too quickly nor being held back - everything is appropriate to where your dog is right now. My dog has grown immensely in confidence, skills, and maturity, and I have grown so much as a handler/dog owner. Packages are fairly priced, class times are convenient, and the facility is well maintained! Id absolutely recommend bringing your pup here

My dog and I have been taking agility training since last fall with Machell and have truly enjoyed every single class. The instructors are expert in their field and have been incredibly supportive, responsive, and helpful to us as newcomers to agility. The mix of group classes with the opportunity to take semi-private/private sessions with the trainers has been especially useful to us as it allows my dog and me to focus on different aspects of agility with each type of class. Overall, I have felt fully supported and I think that XCel is a wonderful place to train a dog. Highly recommend!

Our Barbet, Zoe has been enrolled in Agility classes at Xcel for about 18 months. Starting as a one year old in a beginner's level class, the instruction has been excellent. Working with our instructor Machell Koss has been a positive learning experience. With small class sizes and the opportunity for private lessons, Machell understands Zoe's ability and temperament. Now training at the intermediate level, I am very pleased with our progress. Zoe enjoys our classes and I look forward to our continued improvement as a team. I highly recommend Xcel!

Xcel and its top-notch instructors were recommended to us from friends who compete in agility and obedience. We've taken a ton of different classes there with several dogs over the years and we've loved every one. Their expertise is great, whether we have been looking to add a title or just sharpen skills. Our new puppy is loving his first classes there! Highly recommend!

Excel is the best place to take your dog for training. We've been to other places but by far, this is the best place. The trainers are professionals and I guarantee you will be satisfied with what your dog can accomplish with these trainers. My Thank you for your excellent work with my dogs. You are the best!

I have a very busy schedule and was thrilled to find out there was a basic obedience class that fit in my schedule. However on my first day of class the recommended exercise for leave it was to verbally command my dog and correct with the leash.I am not entirely new to dog training and simply used my leave it and rewarded after he left a plate of cheese alone. The instructor seemed visibly annoyed that I was avoiding correcting my dog.Strong hard corrections were recommended for everyone in the room for other exercises as well. I have taken classes at akc clubs, from military veterans, and other sport focused locations. I was unfortunately disappointed that this class was harsher than any I have taken before. I will not be finishing my classes after the first day.

I was only able to go to the very first class. The lady was extremely rude towards me. And did not want anything to do with my dog. He is a bigger dog and I was having issues training him. I was excited to take him there to get help. I brought treats like I was told to. She made me feel stupid for not bringing people food. I don't like to give them that. She me me feel horrible because I did not have a good enough coller or leash, he would not sit still becasue he was excited and wanted to meet everyone, and was whimpering because he wanted to play. ( I had never had a dog before) she was very mean towards me. I was in tears before leaving. My anxiety was out of control because of how embarrassed and stupid she made me feel. I could not go back. My husband was unable to take him because of his work schedule. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. I was the youngest person there. For it being a training class I would think that the other dogs there would need training as well, they were so well behaved and obviously already had training before. Why have a beginner class if the dogs were already trained?
