“Had a nice first experience at Lux T Nails on 12/31. I called the morning of and made an appt for two pedis later that afternoon. The entrance to the parking lot can be easy to miss but the place itself isn't hard to find and is just off of route 30/Lancaster in Berwyn (down the road from Nectar). We arrived and signed in on the iPad and picked out our colors. The salon seemed clean and had nice holiday decor out, I always appreciate when people make an effort. They were playing pop music at an appropriate level so it provided good background noise but wasn't overwhelming. It was relatively busy and we were seated in our pedi chairs after maybe 10 minutes, and then waited another 10 min for the nail techs. Only knock is my tech became available first so I was a good 10-15 min into my pedi before my mom's got started. Not a huge deal especially since the actually pedis were well done and not rushed at all. It makes a huge difference when they take their time and I felt that here. Price is $40 for a regular pedi (plus tip) so not inexpensive but you get hot stone treatment and it's worth it to me for a clean setting and good polish. All in all, I plan to come back for future appointments!“

“I got married at the beginning of August and am so glad I went with Something You Beauty for our hair and makeup! I was looking for a place that could channel the natural, soft glam look I was hoping for, and they provided exactly that. Since we had a church ceremony and a bit of time before we could access our reception site, we booked the suite at the salon to get ready- I had 8 bridesmaids, myself, and parents, and it was the perfect backdrop for our morning. Quiet, clean, and a pretty backdrop for getting ready photos. We also did the first looks in the courtyard, which provided beautiful scenery.

My makeup and hair lasted all day & night, and looked absolutely seamless. Hayley worked with me to get exactly what I was picturing, and was so open to adjustments. But really, there weren’t many needed because she nailed it! I felt glowy and beautiful the entire day, start to finish.

They were organized and easy to work with from a planning perspective. The timeline they provided for all of our girls ensured that the morning flowed seamlessly. We never felt rushed or behind schedule. They were professional, kind, and attentive.

Michele accommodated me, squeezing me in as soon as she possibly could to do a saline removal on the perimeter of my lips. So much of the pigment went away in just a week’s time. I am beyond thankful for her. She has checked in on me each day and has such a lovely and classy way about. I feel like I have known her forever. She is the only person I would trust microblading me in the future.“

“I’ve been to SLX studio many times. It’s very convenient to get there even when I’m not in a car. The studio is nice and clean and very welcoming. She offers snacks and drinks . The music is always good and it smells AMAZING . She is very accommodating as well. I am pregnant and I had to keep taking breaks and she was fine with it. And I’ve had times where I couldn’t get a babysitter and she accommodated my child. Her work always last and I’m always satisfied. 10/10
