Great place for your Primary Care! Wonderful staff, can also see a few specialties, and have bloodwork done at the same place. Rarely if ever have to wait more than a few minutes, and NP's & Dr's are invested in your health, and work with you as partners in your care.
The clinic looks nice, modern and the doctors, PAs are really good. I can't complain about that. But... There is the billing department. We have BCBS PPO insurance, I asked and I was told they are in-network for lab test for the insurance. So my wife took a urine test and she was charged 150$ for a simple urine test covered by the insurance ( and this hasn't even included thee blood test )!!!! We are scared to go back for blood tests and additional visits. When I asked them if instead they can send the samples to Quest or refer me there I was told they can't do that. This Geisinger Facility is the location of my primary care physician and has a convenient lab where I can get blood draws for various tests. As an example of the convenience: Today I saw my primary care physician Dr. Fathy, had the nurse give me my second Shingrix injection and a TDAP injection, then I went to get a blood test for my Thyroid all in one visit.
