“I've been getting lash extensions with Elexis and various hair services with Kylie for at least a few years now, and I leave happy every time! These ladies, and all of the other ladies in the salon are uncommonly talented. Every time I head in there for an appointment, it feels like I'm on my way to go visit good friends. I've never felt more comfortable or welcome anywhere else. The place has such a happy and welcoming vibe and you can see how this group of professional women support one another in their common goal to make their clients look and feel like absolute goddesses! “I moved to Pa 2 years ago from a big city in Nc to the middle of nowhere. I was looking online and asking around for amazing stylist who also does extensions. I was given the name Mallory in Altoona , so I looked at her work on instagram.. She was exactly the type of stylist I was looking. When I met her , she was so nice and listened to what I was wanting done. Not only is she extremely gorgeous and sweet ,she is sooooooo down to earth and easy to talk to. As for the color and extensions she nailed it. I was very pleased. I do live 1 1/2 hours away from Altoona, so I did go to someone closer just for convenience, but after 3 different stylist nobody came close to what I wanted. so I will drive the hour and a half for Mallory every single time now. Almost forgot to mention how cute and adorable her place is. I absolutely loved the decor and atmosphere. If I could give more stars I would. Go see her, I promise you will not be disappointed.“

“Dear Frank, I can’t reply directly to your review, but I truly appreciate the five stars. I’m actually the “angry woman” you mentioned—I was being very sarcastic. I showed James a photo of what I thought I wanted, and while he delivered exactly that, I ended up not liking it. He fixed it right away—no issues, no damage. I just wanted to share this here in hopes you see it someday.

If you’re looking for someone who truly cares about their clients and takes pride in their work, James is your guy! I recently took my kids to him for haircuts, and I was blown away by how patient and kind he was. My two sons absolutely hate getting their hair cut, but James worked his magic and made them feel completely at ease. Their haircuts turned out great—clean, stylish, and exactly what we wanted.

He also gave my daughter a gorgeous layered haircut that we both couldn’t stop admiring. You can tell James genuinely loves what he does and puts so much care into every detail.

The salon is easy to get to in Altoona, even if you’re coming from Hollidaysburg, Tyrone, Bellwood, or Duncansville. It’s definitely worth the drive.

We’ll absolutely be back. If you want someone who not only knows what they’re doing but also makes the whole experience enjoyable, James is the one to go to. Highly recommend!“

“My hairstylist used to be Julie. Then it's Angie later on. They both did a fantastic job, especially Angie.

Angie has more experience than others and has been doing hair for over 30 years. She dyed my hair easily, cut my bangs, and permed my hair. I am going to have layers cut like a girl's mullet with top short layers next week. I'm pretty sure she knows how to do it since she has lived in the 80s, but anyways, I highly recommend her. She is really good at hairstyling, and she has more experience. (The first photo is just the haircut I'm getting soon)“
