“Shelly did such a great job! I wanted bangs and i wanted them blonde, with a trim but ended up getting some layers and 2 french braids, for my baby shower! When i sat down i explained to her i never get anything done to my hair and how nervous i was, but showed her a few pictures. “I would like to give my honest review. It was my first time there the salon was in the basement of a home both ladies were extremely friendly they also had another lady off to the side who does eye lashes and facials her business was separated from hairworks only thing I would say about this seperate business at the time she was working on a young girl getting ready for her prom I was lucky enough to see the final result and her lashes were beautiful. Now moving on with my personal review I went In for the root touch up gotta get rid of those Grey's ? I wanted to add in very slight highlights mainly around the face area a trim and bangs pictures were shown. Now I do understand the beautician are not mircle workers and some hairstyles etc can't be done.. so my roots were done perfect color match ..oh and she also said I had many colors going on so I knew it would be hard to get the correct color but She did it .. now for the highlights after getting home and really looking at it I wasn't happy it was far from a few highlights ? it was a lot to a point I looked like I was trying to go blonde ? the haircut was okay hair grows back so I'm not concern about that one more thing after I left my hair felt very straw like most times after getting my hair done it's very soft and I can run my hair through it. This time it was so dry I had to rewash it again. Now my final thoughts will I return ? absolutely you can't beat the price all this ran me 130$ I liked the personal feeling I received.. and they have a cute dog ?

“We just moved to the area and I desperately needed to find a stylist that can do color. I chose Sax on 7th based on the reviews and it being fairly close to me. Erik was awesome. I was really pleased with being able to get in quickly. He asked me questions about my vision, how I wear my hair, lifestyle etc. to make recommendations ( I have never had anyone ask me that before!). He also was knowledgeable about curly hair. Also - this is an LGBTQ supportve place which is a major plus for our family. I am so pleased with his color recommendation and he doesn't use product with harsh chemicals. I absolately love how it turned out! I will be back..and have already recruited my husband to make an appointment for himself.“
