Based on the reviews, Park Place Cleaners is a local gem. The owners are kind, and the lovely lady who runs the shop is skilled, detail-oriented, and always does an excellent job. Their alterations and cleaning services are terrific, versatile, and consistent. The quality of work is great, and the prices are very reasonable. Customers have even had to argue about being undercharged. The turnaround time is quick, and the customer care is genuine. Whether it is tailoring clothes to fit just right or making sure everything is perfectly cleaned, they clearly know what they are doing. One customer had a ball gown altered, and the finished gown looked and fit beautifully; it was an amazing deal for the money paid. It is rare to find a place that combines quality, affordability, and such genuine customer care. This is the kind of business people feel good about returning to, and customers travel from Philly and Paoli because the service is truly worth it.
I’ve been going to Park Place Dry Cleaning and Alterations for a couple of years now, and I can’t recommend them enough. Even though I live in Philly, I still make the trip out here because the service is truly worth it. The lovely lady who runs the shop is skilled, detail-oriented, and always does an excellent job with both dry cleaning and alterations. This place is a gem. Super friendly, versatile and consistent. Prices are quite reasonable and quality of work is great. I have even had to argue from time to time with them about undercharging me. It's just the kind of business you feel good about returning to.
I had a ball gown altered because the only size that zipped had too much room in the shoulders and was too revealing in the front for my tastes. I came all the way from Paoli, because I know they do good work. (30 min away) The finished gown looked and fit beautifully, and you couldn’t tell it had been altered. (There was a big obnoxious flower on one shoulder that had to be worked around.) I felt much more comfortable in the altered dress and ended up not needing to wear an uncomfortable strapless bra because it fit so well. It was an amazing deal for the money I paid and the detail work required on the dress.
