“I’ve been a patient with Innovative Muscle Therapy for almost a year now, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the Aston location. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family — not just a patient on a schedule.

Let me start with the front desk, because they are the heartbeat of this office. Jessica, Donna, Twin (she knows who she is ?) and my New Orleans sister are nothing short of amazing. They are warm, welcoming, patient, and incredibly accommodating — especially as a single mother juggling multiple appointments. They’ve always gone above and beyond to make sure my schedule stays organized and manageable, and they are just as kind and attentive to my son Mikey whenever he joins me. Donna and Twin truly feel like bonus grandmoms in the office, and that kind of care is priceless.

Two gestures I’ll never forget:
• Twin surprised me with a handmade lipstick holder she made herself — something small to some, but incredibly thoughtful and useful (especially for someone who’s always losing lip gloss).
• And my New Orleans sister printed out generations of her family’s authentic recipes — gumbo, étouffée, rice and beans — straight from her grandmother’s kitchen after we had a chat about New Orleans being one of my favorite cities and how much I love the food and culture! That gift meant more to me than she’ll ever know, and those recipes are now part of my family traditions forever.

Now, Dr. Shane — where do I even begin? That man is absolutely walking in his divine purpose. His hands are BLESSED , period. After feeling unheard elsewhere, Dr. Shane was the first provider who truly educated me on what my body was experiencing and set realistic, honest expectations for healing. He listens — really listens — which is unfortunately rare, especially as an African-American woman navigating healthcare.

His bedside manner is unmatched. He brings positivity, patience, humor, and space for you to show up exactly as you are that day. Whether we’re talking about progress, pain levels, or reminiscing about growing up in the 90s, he’s always present and intentional. His care is thorough, thoughtful, and never rushed. He adjusts treatments based on how you’re actually feeling, ensuring progress — not setbacks.

Dr. Shane also works cohesively with other providers, which speaks volumes about his professionalism and integrity. Even when my current treatment phase ends, he will absolutely be my go-to chiropractor moving forward. He’s made me a true believer in chiropractic care when done with intention, skill, and heart — not just for adults, but for families and overall wellness.

If I were a millionaire tomorrow, I’d hire Dr. Shane as our full-time family chiropractor — and yes, he is ALWAYS invited to the cookout. He knows exactly what that means.

Out of desperation, I went to Dr. Woo Lee. He quickly identified the real issue, it wasn’t my back or shoulder like I thought, but actually coming from my neck, caused by my posture at work. He showed me the correct stretches, and I felt improvement in my neck right after the first session.

After the second session, my rhomboid pain was reduced by about 50%. By the fourth session, I felt completely better, no more waking up in the middle of the night in pain.
